Best Peruvian food in the US! Amazing flavor and everything was amazing!
(Admittedly, Don Julio in Elizabeth has spoiled me for almost all other Peruvian restaurants, very few exceptions. That said, even my VERY Peruvian -- and very PROUD of it -- husband concurred that the food didn't have a lot of taste to it, not even in that "homemade"-type of way, let alone restaurant ["I'm paying for this"]-quality. More oily/salty than well-seasoned, actually.)
On the other hand, food was...meh. Bland, actually.

Between the bland food and sketchy upkeep in the bathroom...not impressed.
Great food! Best place in the central Jersey area to taste authentic Peruvian cuisine.
The bright spot here was the server. Very sweet and friendly.
Bathroom was not only cramped, but it wasn't as well kept as it could've been. (Might seem like a small detail to some, but when a public bathroom has toilet paper and/or paper towels left out of/off a holder for people to just grab with their bare hands, possibly drop and put back, especially when you can see signs of it previously being handled.... Some people don't care about those kind of details, but I do.)
This place has great variety of Peruvian food but judging the size of the plates's servings it can be a little expensive.
